In his role, he is focused on capital, fund and product management, and helping clients tailor specific investments goals with their risk tolerance. With in-depth market and product knowledge, Gregg streamlines and improves financial processes that enhance efficiencies for the Audent and its customers.
His extensive experience covers all segments of the options markets: from trading to technology to clearing and risk management. Gregg therefore oversees Audent's trading technology platform and risk management measures as well as maintaining best-in-class trade execution.
Prior to joining Audent in April 2020, he served as Director of Strategy and Development and as Director of Enterprise Risk – Financial Risk Management – at Options Clearing Corporation (OCC), the world's largest equity derivatives clearing organization. At OCC, Gregg handled model risk management, default management, margin and pricing for the clearinghouse.
Over his career, he has led and managed algorithmic and electronic trading divisions, manual traders, brokerage and sales trading. He also managed and traded a portfolio of more than 500 equity options positions as a Lead Market Maker/Specialist on the ARCA/Pacific Coast Options Exchange. And he's overseen risk teams in options and futures on equities, treasuries, FX and commodities.
Gregg started his career as a Market Maker on the CBOE for Botta Capital Management and has comprehensive experience and expertise in trading, execution, algorithmic strategy, risk, business development, operations and governance.
Gregg has been a regular speaker on financial and derivatives conference panels and is an expert on the use of options.
He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Gies College of Business, with a degree in finance. He has previously held FINRA Series 24 and 56 licenses.
